The Winchester Royal is a charming 75 bedroom hotel situated in the heart of historic Winchester. Its origins date back to 1530 and it has been a hotel for a century and a half.
The Conservatory restaurant serves quality a La Carte and Table d' Hote menus at lunch & dinner.

The bedrooms are located in either the main house or the west wing. The main house rooms all have their own individual character. The executive rooms are in the West wing and all overlook the beautiful walled gardens.
The Conservatory restaurant overlooks the walled garden, with the old church as a backdrop and offers an a la carte menu.
It is preferable that you book a table in advance, if you wish to dine in the restaurant.
Heading south on m3:
Take Junction 9 to Winnel Trading Estate. Follow road to Town Centre over roundabout. At the bottom of the hill cross the river and bear left and first right. Follow the one way system and take the second right into St Peters Street. The hotel is immediately on your right.
From the south:
Exit m3 at Junction 1. Follow signs for the town centre. At T-Junction (mini roundabout), turn left. At next roundabout turn right. Follow road to the left (signed 'All Routes'). Take second right.
From a34 (Newbury):
Take the Winchester exit. At next roundabout take the b3420 and follow to town centre. At the traffic lights turn left into main street. The Winchester Royal is in the 3rd street on the right.
